MEGGED is an experiential musical project that blends multi-dimensional electronic dance music. The group is led by Yoav Megged, a producer, and creator who has gathered musicians who work at a different pace. Yuval Gotlib plays the bass and Alon Yarkoni plays the drums. In their exceptional performances, they manage to play music that moves both the emotions and the mind. With sharp sounds from the techno, acid, electro, and pop worlds, Megged manages to take listeners on a subcultural and ecstatic journey. Megged aims to examine the points of tension in art that exist between entertainment and spiritual and intellectual experiences. The songs are fast-paced, with a BPM that doesn't allow for a moment of rest, and the sounds form a unique mosaic. Together with live performances, the show becomes one that sweeps you away to regions you have not known before.

Yoav Megged (1994) is an electronic music producer from Tel Aviv, a graduate of the "Musrara School of Art" in sound design and production studies. He began his musical studies at the age of seven, playing the trumpet and piano. Alongside his jazz education, he began independently studying electronic music production over a decade ago. Since the beginning of his career, he has performed at dozens of events and parties.

In 2018, he graduated with honors from the department of New Music Studies at "Musrara School of Art" in Jerusalem. During his studies, he entered the experimental music scene in Jerusalem and managed to explore the worlds of noise and industrial music more deeply. In his creations, Megged explores the tension points between art that are made for entertainment and pleasure, and the desire to engage the intellect. He believes in the unique connections that occur in the encounter between ecstasy and detachment, as well as between short moments of joy when they meet a deep experience of diving into the spirit and emotion.
